Things are about to get a little funny at the box office. The Liam Neeson-starring The Naked Gun and the animated sequel The Bad Guys 2 are the two mainstream studio releases of the weekend (August 1-3). That isn’t to say that there won’t be indie offerings, as well.

‘The Naked Gun’ (Action/Comedy, 85 minutes, PG-13)

“Only one man has the particular set of skills - to lead Police Squad and save the world.”
