Guy at the Movies was started by Joe Peltzer in 2019 on Instagram as a way to connect with other movie fans, share opinions and recommendations, and meet new people with the same love for film. As the outlet has grown, Joe has always focused on breaking down the barriers of traditional criticism to allow for honest, raw conversations around what we unapologetically like and don’t like on the screen.

Over the years, GATM has taken on many different forms on various social media channels, from podcasts to videos, short-form reviews to long, with a number of incredible contributors along the way.
